For lovers of nature, this island is for you. Situated 17 kms from the Vendéen coast it is just an hour's crossing from St Gilles Croix de Vie. There you can explore the beautiful countryside on foot or by bicycle. From the wild coast to the soft sand dunes you will find little coves and superb beaches, and the island's 23 kms² will show you many changes of scenery in just one day.

Noirmoutier
This island, which is famed for its « passage du Gois », a causeway which is accessible at low tide, also has a much easier to use bridge ! There are many activities on offer on the island ; sailing, visitor attractions such as the salt marshes, the aquarium, the aquatic park and the pretty little villages are just some ideas to help you discover the different aspects of this island. Don't forget rockpooling and the superb, fine-sand beaches in the North.
