La Roche sur Yon

The town of La Roche Sur Yon, which is none other than the prefecture of the department, is worth a visit.

From 1804, under the influence of Napoleon, the city developed and presented an original face.
Indeed, it took on a pentagonal shape with a checkerboard organization inserting buildings in the neo-classical register.
